ERA Net Euronanomed
Based on the success of the EuroNanoMed ERA-NET initiative (2009-2011), support to the European Nanomedecine research community is continuing. The EuroNanoMed II ERA-NET project, comprising 20 partners from 17 countries/regions, has been granted funding through the EC’s 7th Framework Programme. It will run from November 2012 to October 2016.

Nano2Life
Nano2Life is the first European Network of Excellence in nanobiotechnology.

EMA – The European Medicines Agency
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is a decentralised body of the European Union with headquarters in London. Its main responsibility is the protection and promotion of public and animal health, through the evaluation and supervision of medicines for human and veterinary use. EMA also provides specific scientific guidelines on nanomedicines.

European Foundation for Clinical Nanomedicine
The European Foundation for Clinical Nanomedicine is a non-profit institution aiming at advancing medicine to the benefit of individuals and society through the application of nanoscience. Aiming at prevention, diagnosis, and therapy through nanomedicine as well as at exploration of its implications, the Foundation reaches its goals through support of clinically focussed research and of interaction and information flow between clinicians, researchers, the public, and other stakeholders. The recognition of the large future impact of nanoscience on medicine and the observed rapid advance of medical applications of nanoscience have been the main reasons for the creation of the Foundation.

NanomedTV
The NanomedTV is an online TV dedicated to nanomedicine, created by Nanobiotix and the European Technology Platform of Nanomedicine.

Nanobiomedicine – international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal
Nanobiomedicine is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scientific journal with an innovative approach, being open to both the readers and the authors (no fee requested). The mission of Nanobiomedicine is to publish manuscripts with selectivity in the areas of nanotechnology as it interfaces with fundamental studies in biology, as well as its application to the fields of medicine. The journal publishes significant contributions in the cross-disciplinary area intersecting nanotechnology with biomedicine, with particular interest in the applicability of these discoveries and advances. Nanobiomedicine will cover all the key aspects of this research field, including, but not limited to, bioengineering, biophysics, physical and biological chemistry, and physiology, as well as nanotechnological applications in diagnostics, therapeutic application, preventive medicine, drug delivery, and monitoring of human disease.

IB2 – Industrial Biological Biomaterials Doctorate
IB2 is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network – European Industrial Doctorate (ITN-EID) funded under the European Community 7th Framework Programme. The IB2 Network provides an elite doctorate programme designed to train PhD candidates at the highest academic level in combination with strong components in entrepreneurship, technology transfer and business development since part of the research and training will be carried out in an industrial environment and using a problem solving approach.

Doctoral Programme on Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology Applied to Health Sciences (BiotechHealth)
The BiotechHealth programme provides training in cellular and molecular biotechnology applied to health sciences within a truly interdisciplinary and international environment.

NanoFar, Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate in nanomedicine and pharmaceutical innovation
NanoFar is proposed by leading European academic teams working together on the integrative approaches to nanomedicine. This programme was designed to be an innovative harmonised joint Doctorate programme of excellence for the most talented students from EU and non-EU countries.
