The European Society for Biomaterials (ESB), in collaboration with its National Affiliated Societies, is hosting an insightful webinar as part of its 2023 series. The European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine (ETPN) is excited to invite its members and the broader scientific community to this enriching event, scheduled for 29th November 2023, from 12:00 to 13:30 (CEST).
Program of the webinar.
Chaired by Maria Grazia Raucci from the Institute of Polymers Composites and Biomaterials – National Research Council (IPCB-CNR) and Nicholas Dunne from the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Dublin City University, this webinar promises to be a convergence of minds and ideas that shape the future of biomaterials.
The webinar will feature key presentations from awardees of various national societies:
- Hellenic Society for Biomaterials: Dimitrios Fotiadis will delve into “Carotid Artery Disease: Risk Stratification through Multiscale Modelling and Machine Learning.”
- Italian Society for Biomaterials: Clara Mattu and Carlotta Mattioda will present their work on “Biomaterials and Processes for Sustainable Nanomedicine.”
- Swiss Society for Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine: Riccardo Rizzo will explore “Development and Application of Photosensitive Bioresins for 3D Biofabrication Strategies: From Volumetric Printing to Two-Photon Stereolithography.”
This event is a must-attend for anyone involved in the field of biomaterials, be it from an academic, industrial, or healthcare perspective. It offers a unique opportunity to learn about the latest advancements, engage in discussions, and network with peers and leaders in the field.
