The 11th edition of the Early Stage Researchers Workshop in Nanoscience organized by IMDEA Nanociencia, a very active ETPN member in Spain, will be held online on 1st December 2021 (via Zoom). The event is open to early stage researchers (PhD students and postdocs) who are invited to present their work as oral or poster communications.
The poster session of the 11th Early Stage Researchers Workshop in Nanoscience will be celebrated in parallel to the oral communications. All poster communications will be displayed under the tab “Poster session”, enabled from Dec. 1st 9:30. The posters will be displayed using the software ‘Padlet’ that allows for commenting under each poster (questions and answers about the poster content). An award will be given to the Best Poster Communication and Best Twitter Poster Communication during the Closing Remarks of the workshop (please, see the Scientific Programme).
Throughout this meeting we will see the different research lines of Nanoscience currently being developed by a growing number of groups and discuss their latest results. Due to the variety of disciplines that Nanoscience embraces, we would like to remind that the audience will be diverse including physicists, chemists or biologists and therefore we ask the presenters to adjust their contributions to this audience.
How to register?
Everyone is welcome to connect to the event and whilst there is no cost, registration is required. Please, follow the steps on the “Registration” link.
About IMDEA Nanociencia
IMDEA Nanociencia is a non-profit Foundation created on November 23rd 2006 by initiative of the regional Government of the Community of Madrid in November 2006 in order to shorten the distance between the research and society in the Madrid region and provide new capacity for research, technological development and innovation in the field of Nanoscience, Nanotechnology and Molecular Design. In 2007 the former Ministry of Education and Science of the Government of Spain decided to also fund part of the creation and equipment of an institute of Nanoscience in the Community of Madrid.
The Foundation manages the IMDEA Nanociencia Institute, a new interdisciplinary research Centre dedicated to the exploration of nanoscience and the development of applications of nanotechnology in connection with innovative industries. The IMDEA Nanociencia Institute is part of one of the strategic lines of the Campus of International Excellence (CEI) UAM+CSIC.
